Where Do We Turn When Life Falls Apart?

When we are faced with life’s deepest struggles, where do we turn?
Do we search for God’s leading and His truth, or do we look for comfort in the world?
What good is faith when the pain feels too heavy to carry?
We may find ourselves asking:

“God, where were You when I needed You the most?”

But the truth is: He has never left.
He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Even when we cannot see His hand, His promises remain.

A Prayer for When You Feel Abandoned

Father, I confess that I struggle to trust You in my pain. I feel alone and forgotten. Help me remember that You are near, even when my feelings tell me otherwise. Give me faith to believe Your Word over my fear. Hold me fast in Your love and lead me back to hope.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.”
— Isaiah 43:2
